2022 U.S. Pan Asian Chamber of Commerce Sponsorship
Eligibility Requirements:
- Academic achievement of 3.3 GPA or higher
- Leadership in extracurricular activities
- Involvement in community service
- Financial need

- Proof of house income
- 2 letters of recommendation

Scholarships for Undocumented Students
In California, state law lets undocumented immigrants pay in-state tuition at state colleges and universities. However, the student must have attended three years of high school in California. Therefore, if you are an undocumented American-Asian, there are a handful of scholarships available to you.
Ascend Educational Fund Scholarship
This scholarship sponsors immigrant students and children of immigrants graduating from a New York City high school planning to attend public or private colleges and universities. They are also awarded regardless of ethnicity, national origin, or immigration status.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Born outside the United States or have two parents born outside the United States.
- Graduating senior at a high school in the five boroughs of New York City.
- Enrolled full-time at an accredited public or private college or university in 2021-2022.
Application Materials:
- Completed and signed application form
- Official high school transcript
- Copy of SAT or ACT scores report
- Two letters of recommendation
- 2 essays
Amount: ranging from $2,500 up to $20,000

First Generation Scholarships for American-Asian Women
People who permanently immigrate to a new country are generally considered the first generation. There is a category of sponsorships that favor first-generation American-Asian students.
2021 Central California Asian Pacific Women (CCAPW) Scholarships
Awarded to women from:
- Fresno
- Kern
- Kings
- Madera
- Merced
- San Joaquin
- Stanislaus
- or Tulare County.
Eligibility Requirements:
- First-generation student
- Academic achievement
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Contribution to the API community
Amount: The award amount varies every year.

The Frederick and Demi Seguritan Scholarship
This scholarship is for women interested in business (not limited to a business major). It goes to American-Asian women with a demonstrated financial need.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Undergraduate enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university in 2021-22.
- First-generation Asian American (that is, immigrants).
- Minimum GPA: 3.0.
- Live in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, or Solano County in California.
- Demonstrate outstanding citizenship.
- Community service required.
- Interest in business (but not required to be a business major).

Sponsorships for Single American-Asian Mothers
Suppose you are a single mother who has decided to attend college. Your search for the perfect scholarship has been made easy. Now you have no excuse not to pursue that degree you have always wanted to study.
American Asian Women’s Association Scholarship
Seeks to provide financial help to an American-Asian woman who wants to pursue a college/university degree.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Enrolled full-time (12+ semester hours) at State College of Florida.
- Have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
- Must be considered a Florida resident for tuition purposes.
- Demonstrate financial need as determined by the FASFA form.
- Seeking a BAS, BS, or BSN Degree.
- Major in Health Science, Science or Technology.
- Preference to single parents with dependent children.
- Attend the Asian Women’s Club of Lakewood Ranch Club meeting to receive the scholarship.
Application Materials:
- 2 letters of recommendation from current or previous professors.
- A thank you letter to the Asian Women’s Club of Lakewood Ranch Scholarship Selection Committee.
Amount: $1,000
